XL Condoms Guide
What Makes an XL Condom?
XL condoms differ from standard condoms primarily in nominal width: 56mm vs the standard 52mm. Length is a secondary consideration.
Nominal width × 2 = approximate fitting circumference:
- 52mm standard: fits ~10–11.5cm circumference
- 56mm XL: fits ~11.5–13cm circumference
Signs You Need XL
- Standard condoms feel uncomfortably tight
- Standard condoms leave red marks or bruising after use
- Standard condoms are difficult to fully unroll
- Erect circumference is greater than 11.5cm

Why Correct Size Matters
A condom that is too tight:
- Increased breakage risk
- Reduced sensation
- Discomfort that discourages consistent use
A condom that is too loose:
- Slippage risk (most common in length direction)
- Reduced protection
The right size = maximum protection + maximum comfort.
